Before you start
Select the website project you intend to change. Each project's settings apply to that project.
Update defaults
- Open Settings under Project.
- Under Project details, select Edit, review Timezone and Keyword search country, and save your changes.
- Under Featured image, choose whether to automatically generate an image with an article. Add Featured image guidance for the visual style you want.
- Under AI guidance, review Theme guidance, Idea guidance, Title guidance, and Article guidance.
- Review Article formatting and save the edited section.
Expected result
The saved defaults guide scheduling, keyword metrics, and future generation. The timezone controls how generation and publication times are interpreted. The search country determines the market used for keyword metrics.
Troubleshooting
If an article runs at an unexpected time, compare the project timezone with its calendar entry and publishing windows. If an existing article does not reflect a new writing preference, edit that article directly; setting guidance does not rewrite saved content.
